The foundation of intelligent assets is BIM. Delivering projects using BIM Level 2 methodologies allows projects to be delivered more cost-effectively, whilst reducing risk. The Building Information Model draws on information assembled collaboratively by all members of the design team at key stages of the project which enhances the delivery of information from the design team through to the construction team and subsequently onto the building operations team.

Dynamic Thermal Analysis
Dynamic thermal analysis is an expertise which can add value to any building design by assisting in providing environments to satisfy occupants, but at the same time operate in an environmentally friendly manner.
Dynamic thermal analysis should be carried out early in a project, ideally at RIBA 2 work stage, in order to inform the design process, so that a fabric first approach can be taken by the design team. The dynamic thermal analysis should be continued through RIBA 3 and 4 work stages to make sure the building is delivered in a sustainable, yet fit for purpose manner.
